F-1 Document Check

Post by KimBrumbaugh »

Does anyone who uses e-forms for check in use the Document Check function. It seems like double the work to me. I read a short KB article that looks like Document Check was a function before e-forms were in use so maybe its not necessary? Can someone help me with this.

Thank you,

My understanding is the same as yours. We use only an eform for document checkin, and don't use the built in Sunapsis function for this.

Cindy,

How do I turn off that alert. Or do you just delete it each term?

Thank you,
Kim

Hi Kim,
I'm still on version 3 where I can subscribe to alerts through my user configuration, so I don't see any of the alerts I don't care about. I just let students' records sit on the alerts that I don't care about, because they aren't visible to me.

It seems that version 4 doesn't respect those subscriptions and instead shows all alerts, and then you have to use filters to eliminate the ones you don't want to see. I think there's some way of tagging alerts you care about, and then filtering down to just those. Perhaps someone from another school who is already on v4 can give you ideas how to avoid seeing the alert.
